Any way to delete items in print queue?

Something in the print queue apparently is causing an error.  The only things there are old, and should be deleted.  I suspect it's some form with a string where a number belongs, but there isn't enough info to track it down.

Any way to just clear the queue without printing?  I tried even printing to adobe, but it's a TAM problem.

Are you talking about when in Tam in the print dialog box you select the Queue option? If that's the case, and you want to clear the Queue, you can go to Utility Manager, go to Forms and select Print and View Queued Forms. The FI Printing Utility box will open. Select View Queued Forms and click the Print button. That will show all the forms that are queued for printing. If it's empty, there's nothing queued. If you want to clear the forms in the list, in the box select All Forms at the top and click the Print button. All items will print and the queue will be cleared.
This is what I see in v10.7. I don't know if this will be the same with the version you are on.
And if this is not what you were talking about, you can ignore it all  ;)
Edit: I was able to select Cute PDF as a printer but since there's nothing in our queue I don't know if it works.

Lance - if it's old stuff in the queue you may just want to call AS and have them empty it out and then start fresh!

Just note what's in the queue and take a look at it on the client.  Sometimes if you look at the item from the client side and then DELETE it will ask if you want to delete it from the queue.  If that doesn't do it then I would ask Applied to clean it out.

Indeed you may need to call Applied because in version 10, especially 10.4, there are some forms, like Evidences of Insurance that get stuck in the print queue and can't be removed, except by going into the database. There's a programming flaw causing this issue and is one reason to consider going to 10.7.

On 10.4 here and clean out the queue once a week and haven't had any stuck there! Guess we're lucky

Alice - the problem is that when you try to print, something is causing an error.  I'll try Jan's option, but probably call AS Support today.

I assume you were asking about the document que.

x:\doc\queue\word

The files end in the format of the papertype.  .lh for letterhead.

They documents appear to attach when you acknowledge they printed correctly.

You should be able to delete the files.

Any idea what document form "I1" is?  Everything that is in the queue is that form.

I know that the nonsimplified Evidences and possibly the Nonsimplified Certificate of Insurance get stuck in the queue and can't be easily removed. We had a couple created by accident and even then it's too late. Can't delete it, can't dequeue it. I think the nonsimplified Binder is problematic as well.

Thanks but no - it's the "form queue", which is a bit different.  This is when someone selects "queue" instead of "print" for instance, in the dialog box - usually not form letters - but something like Auto ID, Evidence, Certs, Apps, etc.

Then it's most certainly a call to Applied, we had a rash of these awhile back, suppose I should have been recording what they did :-(

Believe that is "Binder"

Edit:  Will my notes say that I2 and IB  are binders, guessing I1 is binder too?
