We should probably get going going on replacing our old server that runs TAM, BES and is our PDC. Any recommendations for or against certain hardware and server OS? We are running on Dell Poweredge Servers and optiplex workstations. We have a 2K3 Terminal Server, a 2008 R1 Exchange Server and a 2K3 file server, plus the beat up old Tam server.

I am wondering if I can go 64 bit 2008 for the new Tam server, anyone had any luck with this?

Thanks again for the help.

I like HP - but nothing wrong with the PowerEdge - we have plenty of those and they seem fine.  It may also be worth considering virtualization if you can benefit from that.  TAM should server fine off of a 64-bit 2008 server, but if you are replacing workstations too - you'll need to stick with 32-bit for now.  Same goes for terminal servers.
