Somewhere I thought I saw that in some version of TAM you could now import vehicle schedules... but I'm not finding anything about that.  Maybe I am confused with Epic?  Can anyone clear that up for me?

Thanks!

Mark, I think the only thing you can import/export in TAM is Cert holders.

Yeah, that's all that I can find.  Maybe I do have it confused with Epic, because I believe that Epic has the schedule import feature.  ???  Oh well.

Thanks for responding!

Yes, Epic and Vision import other things - TAM does cert holders only, I believe.  Also can export.

Requested that TAM import auto & property schedules when they first came out with the holders.  Haven't seen anything yet!

While you can't export directly from a client in TAM, you can export drivers list, vehicle schedules, equipment schedules, etc. by running a search of those applications in Reports and export it to Excel.

Yes, I know you can export certain schedules from Search mode into Excel, but wouldn't it be nice to be able to import them back into your apps after your client updates the Excel schedule?  That was my request.  At a local Users meeting yesterday, we were told that most of Applied's programmers time is being used on EPIC and that most of TAM improvements are being ignored.

Dana - was this an Applied person that said this?  Just curious because I wouldn't think they would be allowed to even hint at something like this, even if we all here kinda know anyway.

brinkerdana

No, it wasn't an Applied person, it was the overall impression from a group frustrated by lack of attention to PMRs.

Yes, I know that was your request and yes, it would be nice.  I just mentioned the export because many people don't realize they can do that. Sorry for intruding.
