Got a voice mail yesterday from Applied.  The tech said that a 10.4 update had just been released for download which includes the hot fixes.

Haven't heard anything about hot fixes on TAMOnline.

I suspect that Applied have just applied the hotfixes to TAM Online.  Do you see an asupdate doing its thing since I think that needs to actually ru to apply the patches but I think that Applied may have already do that behind the scenes for you.

If you already have 10.4 and are in need of the updates, shoot me a PM.  I have them in an email from an Applied tech.

The tech who called me implied that it would be easier to just download the update and install it than the hotfixes by themselves.

You may be right, though they usually send notice of some kind.

Don't see the asupdate, but I never have before.

This is an easier installation but you still have to go round and manually run asupdate /rr because the regular asupdate you run doesn't see any version changes so it just passes through and runs wintam.exe

To be sure I understand correctly, it's easier to download the "new 10.4" and install then load all the separate files I have sitting in a folder.  We're currently on 10.4 and I need to load these hotfixes at some point.  Hands are full with lots of other fun things at the office so I'm just skimming stuff from Applied.

I've been led to believe that even if you are on 10.4 that we're supposed to download and install the new installation because there are additional files besides the hotfixes. You might want to check with Applied Support.

Yes - download and install the latest version of 10.4 if you are already on 10.4 is the easiest way to load the hotfixes.

Thanks Ian & George.  I figured that was the jist of things.  My head is a bit crowded these days.

Loaded this over the weekend.  This morning users were letting me know that certificates were not filling and some apps were not viewable.  Applied said I needed to run Rebuild Sections Field.  The tech told me that I could run it with people in the system.  It would just skip any apps which were being accessed.
