We do use GoToMeeting but I have been instructed to use something else. The feeling is that calls are increasing and then someone might not be able to make a call, as someone else was using. Do you ever run into that?

We ask people to reserve a conference line through our receptionist.  We keep calendars in public folders so everyone can see when the lines are in use.

Now, does that work 100% of the time?  Nope.  We have had a couple of incidents where people try to use a line that was previously reserved.  Then we have to send out an ugly email to everyone reminding them to check the calendars.   >:(

I think a lot of these conference services expect you to set up an account for every employee that would ever need one.  That's not practical when you have people that might only use theirs a couple of times a year.  We just have two set up – one under my name and one under an administrative assistant's name – for seventy people to share.

We were paying for conference calling, but have reverted to FreeConferencecallHD.com. The quality now rivals anything we were paying for (we used both WebEx and GoToMeeting previously). We still have a WebEx license that permits us to use the service as needed to host training or symposiums, but we're saving a boatload of cash with no diminution in service.

We used to use Go To Meeting, now we use adobe connect. Unfortunately, I do not know what the costs associated with this are though.
