One of our CSRs moved to a different office space and on one of the monitors (both are Dell E2014Hc) the words on the TAM screens appear lighter in color than the other one.  We've tried adjusting the contrast on the monitor, but that doesn't help much.  If the font could be bigger, that would help, but I don't think that's an option, is it?  The font in TAM needs to be either bigger or needs to pop out more from the background it's on.  Can it be done?  Buying new, bigger monitors is not going to be done as these are wide ones and are fine for everyone else as far as I know.  Any ideas?

one could be going bad or the cable isnt plugged in all the way.   Those have always been my two problems with that issue.

First, try swapping connections on the back to see if its the monitor itself or the connection.  If its the monitor itself, set both of the to defaults and see if you can match their settings. If its not the monitor, and one of the connections is VGA, see if you can upgrade/switch it to DVI or Displayport which are all-digital connections.

Note - Dell monitors have a 3 year warranty so if it is the mon and it was purchased under 3 years ago...get it replaced.

Sounds like it's just a failing monitor.  We just had to replace one recently -actually we replace both so the "look" is the same and just kept the 1 good one for emergency use next time one goes out.
