Our CPA is in our office getting our taxes ready... they say there is a problem
with our figures.  We ran the 'Balance Sheet' report, and our fixed assets
were fine in Jan 2009 (acct #150) --- in Feb 2009 the entire account is
zeroed out.

We can't find a JE that did this, and aren't sure where the amounts 'went'...
Also, the assets don't match the liabilities on the report...

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what report to run to
see what happened to the figures in this account?

I hope this makes sense... I don't do any accounting myself, so feel
free to ask questions and I'll try to narrow down my question!   :-)

If you search the KB for "Rebuild General Ledger" you'll find detailed docs explaining how to run a utility to correct. Method differs a little depending on whether it is one or multiple months that are a problem.  Probably differs a little b/t versions also.

BTW ---- another plug for the forums...

We logged a call into Applied accounting support 2 1/2 hours ago... they tried
a few things and then said they had to call us back... still no call.

Billy got back to me in 5 minutes with the answer!

;D ;D ;D
