AS_LOCK - Close Day subfolders

Just curious, anybody know what these are for? Folder name e.g. "639AEB94", owner shows as a random User, but folders are empty. Can they be deleted?

I believe that you can delete these, but it's probably better to rename it and wait for a few days.  I believe that this has something to do with an environment variable on a given machines, but not certain of that.
