So far so good, too.  Much smoother than we anticipated.   :)

Indeed - the upgrades are much easier than they used to be. Not sure if they are quicker due to programming changes or stricltly from faster processors.

Nice move, Billy.  Glad all went smooth.

What kind of comments have you gotten from users about the newer features?

I can remember the days when someone would upgrade us and no one knew what was there.

It's been so long for me that I've forgotten what is in the 10.XX series upgrades!  I think it is mostly E-Filing enhancements and tighter integration with E-mail, but don't quote me on that.  I would still like a good way of sending form letters through E-mail, and maybe a way to do it in "bulk", but staying under the 200 E-mail limit that would brand us as a spammer.

You rockin' and rollin' with Drag & Drop now?

We have a task force that's been working on procedures and workflows.  That process is complete and the next phase is training, which will show everyone the new features as part of training on the new workflows/procedures.

So, no comments yet - those not on the task force are clueless for the moment (by design); those who are on the task force have seen the features already (we used our sandbox setup during task force meetings).

Since he jumped from 8.x, they also gained Claims download ability, or at a minimum, an improvement of it. Was it 8 or 9 that moved the buttons around on the main screen and changed from Docs to Attachments? That was a significant "apperance" change. Should also now have additional columnar information on policy lists and client lists, plus the moving of the "quote" function to real-time instead of in the policy list (if you use a comparative rater). Then, of course, there's the giant Certificate change - big training issue! Stand tall on the requirements not to put in x days notice language back into remarks.

Also have CONTACTS - which is very useful! - Email and cell number slots plus lots of phone number slots. Very convenient place to find cell numbr and email addr quickly.
PLUS when emailing from within TAM, CONTACT info can be obtained for Companies!  I LOVE that feature!
