We are going to go from 9.4 to 10.7 this weekend.  I've checked with our vendors who use the ConneXion license and there are no issues that we know of.

I've gone through the "Noteworthy Items" and it looks liveable.

The only item that I don't know for certain is that one of my account managers told me that she has heard from people in another agency that the Certificate Holder Notes (as opposed to the Certificate Notes) get dropped in the conversion.    :o  :'(
Support tells me that they have not heard of this as an issue.

Has anyone on the Forum heard of it??

Thanks!!

Deb,
If you are referring to the Description of Operations field on the Holder tab, ours carried over properly. I haven't actually upgraded yet, but we have a test enrivornment that has been upgraded, and no issue with cert holder notes that I can see.

Thanks loads for that feedback Lynn!!  I am actually looking forward to this upgrade.  The drag-n-drop email attachment is going to be such a time saver for us!

We are on 9.3 now. In my upgrade testing, it seemed to go smoothly. While there are a few bugs of interest in 10.7, nothing big is stopping us this time! And our producers LOVE the new Summary of Insurance! We are going live on 3/26.

We didn't lose Certificate Holder Notes.  But, on one of the previous versions (can't remember which one), there was a problem with holder notes (at least for us). If I recall correctly, the notes were at time printing on the wrong holders. But, we are on 10.4 now and don't have the problem any longer.

2 issues found and reported to Applied are as follows:

Printing 125 Application
When the 125 Application prints, the ATTN line does not print on the application. This could be an issue since many commercial lines accounts utilize this section of the Address to include DBA's or C/O.
Work Around: In the meantime, when you prepare an application, review the data and if you have information in the attention field move it to the section under the Named Insured since there are 4 lines included under this section.

Printing Certificate of Insurance including UMBRELLA/Excess Liab

If a Zero is entered in the Retained Limit section of the application and a certificate of liability is created, the 0 will pull over onto the certificate HOWEVER, it will not print. If you have a value or the word NONE typed in this section, these options will print on the certificate.
Work Around: When creating a certificate of liability including UMB/Excess coverage, if the retention is 0 then enter "NONE" in this section.

We upgraded from 10.3 to 10.7 in december and had no issues with certifictes. Trust me: I would have heard about it.
