Since July 1st my download has not been working through Night Utilities. It gives me an error, Unable to update the Transfer Manager configuration. After calling applied every day, I think we are finally on to something. We have checked the following services: Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, Remote Access Connection Manager and Telephony. One of them is usually not started. I think I did MS updates right before this started happening. Anyway if I start the service then reboot, they are not working again. I've just tried setting each of them to automatic and will reboot again, but I was curious if anyone else had seen this out there?
It's maddening. We've just moved, so this is the last thing I really want to have to figure out.
Thanks....

Ok, just rebooted and they seem to be started. Fingers crossed. Wish I had gotten this answer the first time....

Usually, if a service shuts down or fails to start for some reason, an entry is placed in the  Systems event log.  If there is an entry there, you can search for information on the Event ID that was generated. That would be a good place to start.
