We have found that in the upgrade to 12.0, the many of Acord 90 personal auto forms were updated, including Indiana. One of the changes is to change the UMBI fields from a combination of CSL/BI to either CSL or BI and separate fields. In the process, none of our UMBI fields were populated. I talked with a support tech and was given the answer that it appears that the program "didn't know" where to put the data, so it didn't put it anywhere. Apparently the UMBI data was tossed aside in the conversion process, rather than putting it in the split limits or inserting some logical programming ask of the second field has data and send it split limits, or if not, send it to CSL.

No documentation about this that I can find and per my call to support, no way to restore the data to any fields. I asked if they data was simply discarded in the conversion or resides in the database still but not shown. She told me that she doesn't think its there, but would never really say whether it was discarded and completely lost or not. I'm disappointed that AS would take a route to discard the data with no notice and no resolution. She only offered to enter a PMR for future possible situations, which isn't helpful at all.

This does not sound good..... sounds like there is no urgency from AS to correct the issue.

The only "saving grace" is that your companies will repopulate this field upon renewal, endorsement of a new initial load, as soon as Applied fixes the problem.  That said, it's not cool to mess with agency's data like that.

Updating the ACORD 90 (PAP) changes with version 12. History applications do not show the names of the drivers in the application unless you  print or print preview. I called support. Apparently it's documented in the upgrade notes and results from the data being moved in the tables. Sucks. Now the time required to check history apps for a driver is much longer since I have to print preview each one until I find the right one. "idea" has been posted to the new product advisory board in Applied's website. The tech also entered a PMR, I believe.
