Many versions ago under tools, user setup, you could store your screen defaults in tam so when adding a new client it would prefill with information.

I'm not locating it anywhere.   I would like to default each user to lock in the branch when adding a new client BUT they also need access to other branches.  I want to prevent them from making accidents and coding wrong agency or branch by setting defaults like the old days.

I think this was removed when Security Manager added long ago just never checked since then until now.    If a user has access to more than one branch but works in a certain branch, guess you can't default new clients added by user to that branch?  Am I missing something in TAM?  User defaults anywhere in TAM anymore?

TIA!  :)

Got me stumped Bob. I don't remember being able to set up screen defaults any other way than individual screens (client detail, policy detail), not by user set up. Plus, being IT (TAM works, I'm done) that item has always fallen to the supervisor to make sure the screen defaults are what they should be and educating the user at the same time.

It's still there.  Pull up the policy list, then under Options (at the top), pick billing screen defaults.  But if you're talking about branch, that's with the customer list, under Options (at the top), pick customer screen defaults.

Both situations also available at the bottom with Options.

But it's set by each user.

Thanks Lance!  Just was I was looking for.   Haven't had need to look for it since 6.x.  Yes by user and that's ok.. Going to login as each user and set each up.   Save me a lot of work and clean up from mistakes.   :)

Greatly Appreciated!  +1
