Title: Any way to move activites from one customer to another?
Post by: brinkerdana on July 22, 2010, 02:56:56 PM
Someone downloaded a  suspended policy to the wrong customer.  I tried to fix it by moving the policy to prospect and moving  it back to the correct customer.  I screwed up.  I forgot to uncheck to box to move Activites when I moved it back to customer.

Is there any easy way to do this besides deleting them an re-entering them on the correct account?

Boy, do I feel stupid!

So at this point you have an activity list on the incorrect account, right?  You can copy that account back to prospects and then back to the correct customer.  This would move ALL activities, you can't move only a select range.  I don't believe there is a way to move the data, only copy.  Once it is copied to the correct account you can go back and delete it from the incorrect file.  Make sense?

Surprisingly, it does make sense.  But I've been up since 3:30 AM, so I'll do it again after a good nights sleep.  Thanks!
