Title: CSR24 2014 R10 updates permissions and removes access from CSR's
Post by: Charlie Charbonneau on July 20, 2015, 10:47:55 AM
Applied updated CSR24 over the weekend.  If you haven't had a chance to read the release notes yet, the first item of note is the addition of Agency level security I.E. They changed some permissions!  If suddenly this morning your users cant add attachments or access other areas they are used to, this is the culprit!

Edit your CSR's permissions in CSR24 and add "View" rights to the agency level.

Here's the long of it:

Feature Description: Additional items tied to agency-
level security
Access to the following menu items have been tied
to the Agency checkboxes under Level Security
when editing Producers and CSRs (click System
Admin > CSRs or Producers and add or edit an
account): Call Center, Menus, Reinstate Inactive
Insured, and MobileProducer. Previously, there
were no security restrictions for these pages and
all users had access.
Access to the Agency Library Import and Export
are tied to the same Agency checkboxes. Previously
there were no security restrictions for the Library
Export or Import, and all users that had access to
view the Library had access to these functions.
If a CSR or Producer in Premium Certificates does
not have view permissions to for Agency in Level
Security, he or she can no longer access the following
menu items: Attachments, Library, Call Center,
Locations, Menus, Licenses, Policy Templates,
Agencies, Branches, and Adjusters. A message
stating he or she does not have permission displays
upon selecting one of these menu items.
