The personal lines people have been moving clients from obsolete to correct Erie agent codes on the P&C side, but they were told that the Life policies cannot be moved to a different Erie agent number. That just doesn't seem right. We have a number of Life policies that are on obsolete agent numbers and I am wondering if the field rep gave the agency incorrect information. I wouldn't think the process would be too involved on Erie's side to get it done.
Are there any Erie agencies out here who can verify whether or not the Life policies can be corrected?
