Title: 10.3 to 10.4 Upgrade
Post by: Bobby Gurba on May 18, 2010, 09:11:15 AM
I am looking to upgrade our TAM from 10.3 to 10.4 but just wanted to make a quick shout out to see if anybody that has done the upgrade already has had any major issues/complications with it. I have read the release notes and noteworthy items, so I know what I am getting into as far as that is concerned...but is there anything else I should look out for? Any major bumps in the upgrade process/transition or was it a fairly smooth ride?

Rob

I encountered no problems in the upgrade. It went very quickly.

Only thing I've heard is the 10.4 COI issue with font size being extremely small when it runs over spacing

If you download commercial, a canceled BOP will crash your download. Applied is working on a patch, but you can fix it yourself by saving and replacing wapbatch.exe & wapbatin.exe from your 10.3 installation after running the upgrade.

How do things like this make their way out of beta?  Seriously.

We just found a problem with printing EDP apps. They are not showing correctly in the print menu. Choosing print all applications, the EDP will not highlight and print. You have to print the EDP by itself.
