I've been asked to make visual illustration on how to add columns in client list. Problem is can't capture the right click option that list choices for columns. Moment I try snipping tool or screen capture it closes the window that was open during the right click.
Anyone have any tricks to capture this?

Try using the Print Screen button on the keyboard (right click to get the option you are looking for, then, Print Screen key) then paste into a graphic editor for cropping.

Tried that.. Moment you hit print screen dialog box with choices for columns closes.
Try it and you'll see what I mean.
Ok check that, works a little. Captures all the screens and small. Shift Print screen captures a screen but closes the dialog.
See if I can crop it down and resize it make it workable.

I was just able to do this in Epic using Gadwin PrintScreen (the free version). Right clicked to bring up options and then have to leave the mouse where it is and then hit my hot key combination. Am able to just select the area I want, so it's a nice big copy! Hope this makes sense!
Or record it and take a screenshot during playback. Free tools to record screen are out there.

I did rather funny too in that Margaret too the liberty of capturing the dialog box for me. I did get several options going forward for stuff like this so thanks again! :)
I use snagit here, which does it...i've got more than enough screenshots with menus from doing bits of docs over the years.
