Title: Deleting attachments
Post by: Karen on September 12, 2013, 10:10:52 AM
Do any of you allow your support staff to delete attachments, that they have entered incorrectly?   Presently I have them send me requests to do so,  and I had a user ask if they could be allowed to do it themselves.   Just wondered what the rest of you do for this.

Thank you

Negative.  Our agency views this as an E&O concern.

We delete by request only.

Same as everyone else here.  This should be a RARE request.  If it's not, then you might have other issues, either training wise, or with your system setup.  We had that issue years ago, but since everyone here has a driver letter mapped for their personal attachments to go to, we've not had one of these issues.  The TAM Homebase is set to save attachments to the J: drive, and a script the runs at login time maps \\ServerName\EfilingShare\Username to the J: drive.  We've not had an issue since then.

Thanks all - that's what I was looking for.

Due to E&O - we don't allow ANY deletions of those. Instead, add comment in activity attached incorrectly.
