I tried to delete some unused document folders (not documents selected) and got the following error:
Table 40 is not in a valid postion.
Can someone tell me what this is?

That one is a folding table and to take it out you'll have collapse it first. ;)

Too many? How can one go to 'too many'? ;D I'm just there for the food. But yes, I am glad they invented plastic folding tables because the particle board ones are very heavy.

Dana - how are you trying to delete them that it's producing an error? Just want to follow your steps to see if it happens to me, since I now have a test server.
Plus - it may be that you don't just delete a whole folder until it's been emptied - in other words, delete the documents first (or move them to another folder), then delete the folder.
I was in Utilities outside of TAM, Documents, Folders. The folders I tried to delete had no documents in them. It also happened when I was logged into TAM in Utilities.
Either I'm not looking in the right area or I'm not understanding what you're trying to do. I was in Utilities but couldn't find where you were headed.
I think she was in documents/setup in utilities - that's where you work with these things.

Dana - what version of Tam are you on? We're on 10.8 and I did not receive that error.
I searched the KB using Table 40 in the search box and 10 items were returned. Might want to look there for some suggestions even though none are exactly your situation. Most say to rename letter.ndx and reindex letter.dbf. Here's one that explains how:

Only vaguely related to this thread, but sometimes in Windows Explorer, a folder appears to be empty but the Properties show some large kb or even mb number. Hidden files view is On so I can't understand what the folder size represents. Any ideas?
