How are other agencies dealing with daily email notices from carriers of policy activity such as new/renewal policies issued, endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc?
Do you have them sent to the person responsible for your mail?
How do you back that person up when they are gone for more than a couple days?
We have them sent to a specific email address, which is routed to a "public" folder. Then those who should be able to process have rights to that public folder. They are coming from a specific email address, so all from that address go to the public folder.
We try to have them all sent to our receptionist who then distributes appropriately. There are a few that I am getting because I'm designated as the admin for our agency with that carrier and then I distribute.
We have a designated person who receives the notices and then she forwards them on to the AEs for processing.
They come to our generic Company email address which I monitor and I disburse.
Thanks everyone - I appreciate it!
