Title: COI Issues

We are currently on ver. 8.5.

Today a CSR went into a client to re-print the client's copies of the certificates issued at renewal (they had been "misplaced.")  When she went in all but one of some 50 - 60 holders had "disappeared."

Naturally she just retyped them all in (or reselected from Universal list - not sure which), even though they had been there at renewal, instead of calling for help.  Now when you print the COI's you get ~ 1,700 pages, the extras being Notepads detailing what data had been removed when we upgraded to 6.1 in 1999.

Anyone seen something similar?

No I haven't, but I would certainly call support on this one before you run any utilities and lose any chance of straightening this out easily.  It almost sounds like the system lost the indexing on the certificate holders file.  They may still be there, but aren't being "found".  It's scary enough that I would call, because it may happen to other customers or may be a system wide issue.
