I know its not officially supported but we have been using it for some time with no problems. Getting it to work one one new w/s is causing me difficulty. After running ASUPDATE the TAM login box comes up, I login and before I get the homescreen a box pops up - MAPI has not been properly installed, please run ASUpdate. When I OK that TAM loads but ewithout Outlook integration. The rest of the MS Office 2007 suite - word, excel, etc integrate perfectly.
Whats awry with the MAPI?
I don't know that this fixes it, but have you run it from the run command, using the /rr switch (g:\wintam\asupdate /rr)? It's usually the default 1st answer from support to try and it may need to re-register a setting. I've never had an issue with any of the 2007 Office products with TAM.
Thanks Jim - Yes, I've tried that already - doesnt help.
Is the MAPI box ticke in System Setup (from Homebase)? And is there a MAPI2.flg file in Applied/tam_exe?

Good call, Andrew. Also, if you've changed "profiles" during the switch, it may be linked to an old Outlook "profile" and data file, which may not exist any longer. You may need to rename the WINTAM folder locally and reinstall TAM from scratch with ASUPDATE /RR in order to get it to properly recognize the new or changed Outlook profile.
