Title: Programmed in TAM Activity Codes?
Post by: Lance Bateman on January 05, 2011, 02:18:52 PM
I intend to redo our activity codes sometime in the next six months.  I've pulled a couple KBase articles that are not in agreement, and was provided the defaults report from a DEMO setup.

None of those are in agreement.  Anyone know where I can find those codes that default from an action taken on TAM (example, printing a Certificate generates CERT activity as default).

Appreciate any information on this.

Worth a look in FLDS.DBF, there may be a flag in there to indicate a default - not sure.

There isn't anything in FLDS to indicate a canned code, I've always assumed they were burned into the executables somewhere.

What would be so terrible about a utility that allowed the agency to select which activity code to assign to each action in TAM?  If a default code was not entered either throw an error or don't allow that action.
