Title: Acronis® Disk Director® 11 Advanced Server
Post by: Judy Means on November 04, 2010, 05:16:17 PM
Have any of you used this software to "re-partition" a server?  My main server still has a lot of space left, but my C:/ drive on it is almost full.  My techie is suggesting a repartition.  I know Acronis is good, but I'm wondering if any of you have used this or recommend something else?

We are trying to enlarge C:/.

Here is a link to the software.

Thanks.

Used that, along with GParted, PartitionMagic and some low-level utils... they all get the job done.  What size was your C: partition to begin with?

I've used GParted, and have been very happy with it.  Some of the commercial products will check to see if you are working on a server, then make you buy their "server" version at a horribly inflated price.  GParted is free, and is pretty trustworthy.

I did find DiskDirector to be faster than GParted...
