We have a handful of policies that have expired. When we try to delete them, we get an error message saying "a policy with open items cannot be deleted". We've confirmed there's no open activity, claim or application. Any ideas what else would be open and how we'd close them? Our version of TAM is 2015 MU2.
Sorry if this has been asked -I spent some time searching, but couldn't find anything.
Thanks for the help!
Check for future apps? Commcl apps or Personal Lines apps? If comml any of them changed to Pkg from BOP or visa versa?
We did check for future apps. It's been noticed on personal lines policies (not commercial that I'm aware of): home, auto, etc. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. Thanks again for your help!
Hi! Welcome to AU!
Check accounting maybe?
Thank you for the welcome!
There isn't a balance on the policy. Would the accounting still be a factor?
I would check for any open/pending invoices or memos. "Open Item" feels accounting related to me.
We'll try that. Thanks again for the help! :)
You're welcome! Let us know if you figure it out. :)
I definitely will -thanks again! 8)
