Error retrieving variable APP.BO.DRIVER_BDAY

any ideas?

Non-valid character in the field? Are you in reports or documents?

Sounds like the user is in documents.

I'm guessing BDAY implies driver's date of birth. Check how user has entered the data.

Agreed, it doesn't like something about what is in that field.  I usually see a similar error with Property apps where users decide to enter text in a numeric field.
