I tried a couple of the conversion tools converting a PDF to a editable DOCX and another PDF to an XLXS

We still use PaperPort here in the office and I regularly use it to convert PDF's to .DOC's or .XLS's.  It's not perfect, but it works well! 

There's a workaround to force PaperPort recognize Word and Excel also if for some reason it doesn't pick it up!

I'll have to check these out thou, thanks!

Much to my shagrin and not for lack of trying to migrate them, some of our staff still uses PaperPort Extensively.

Glad you found the tools worth a look.
