Title: Wyse V10L errors
Post by: Bloody Jack Kidd on March 24, 2010, 09:06:00 AM
on trying to make a Citrix connection, users get a Trap Protection Fault error.

No changes in environment in the last 24 hours.  Units were working yesterday.

Is it everyone?  If not is there any consistency as far as who, when, actions, etc?  Anything in the events showing anything?

no, we have had this before and it's always a head scratcher.  I think we had 2-3 users get this, out of likely about 50+ using Wyse terms at that location.  Sometime the error even goes away as randomly as it appeared.

As long as you're working on it that's what counts, right?   ;)

Our problem seems to have been resolved by moving to FW 6.3x, touch wood all seems to be ok now - has been for about a month now.

I've now concluded that Session Reliability was the cause for our disconnects. Wyse has confirmed this as an issue with the firmware we're using (6.2.0_08), although they say that the firmware supports it, but could be unstabile.

That's about all I could find on the issue.  Hope this helps!
