Title: TAM appears too large on high resolution
Post by: Bloody Jack Kidd on January 07, 2010, 10:46:31 AM
I have a couple users on desktops with 24" full HD monitors running at 1920x1080 and for some reason TAM looks abnormally large.  I have other stations both thin client and fat client running at same resolution and TAM looks smaller.  How is this possible?

found out it was the dpi setting under advanced display settings - it was set to 120dpi instead of 96dpi.

That would do it.

I would be willing to bet that the user messed around with it.   Viewing print at that resolution really can get hard to read, especially if working on it all day.   Even though the monitor is not as sharp as at its optimum resolution, I think I'd set it down a little.
