Title: Is there an Earthquake ACORD?
Post by: Alice Mooney on November 22, 2019, 03:35:47 PM
I'm having login issues with ACORD's site and thought I'd ask here until I fix it. If there is no EQ form, what are you guys using, or have you created a custom form. We may be able to get policy downloads so I was curious.

Thank you!

Looks like there are some state specific EQ forms.  2 for CA, one for each of AR, MO, & IL though some of the mare just notice of availability of EQ insurance.

What Mark said - in most places, it's simply a cause of loss on the property form. As a result, if I had to write an earthquake-only policy, I would probably associate it with the Acord Property Form. It may not have underwriting questions that might need to be captured, though.

Thank you both!  Most likely will associate with the property form. There's a good chance we will get downloads and need to tie it to something. Have no idea what info they will send, but at least it won't be manual.
And it is for California.
