Went live with Epic 12/18
« on: December 26, 2019, 05:31:10 pm »
It's been an interesting few days for sure. But I will say the help file for security is the best I've ever seen.

That's good to hear!  The help file in TAM leaves much to be desired, even after all of these years.

Jeff - AMS360 was the worst I've ever seen. Worse than TAM.

Thank you Sherry. I'm sure I'll be reaching out for all sorts of things. Sometimes the reports have my head spinning, so there may be many questions around that.

We are on the cusp of thinking about moving to Epic...

That's like thinking about thinking about it.  ;D

There are benefits to the modernization that Epic brings, but plenty of frustrations along the way.  We've been live since May 2017 and are still changing how we do things, rewriting workflows, and finally creating some workflows and procedures for various things.

For as many complaints we may have (adjusting to it), there are a lot of things we like about Epic and have used it for.  For example, we are now 100% paperless in accounting.  This includes expense reports, all check requests (whatever those are for), invoices, credit card receipts, etc.

Exactly!  Accounting, time, cost, training, workflow creation, TAM cleanup, building our own building and moving are all things(excuses) that have kept the consideration in the background.

Yep.  That'll do it!

Not pushing, just saying that we are overall happy we did it and also reaffirming that yes, there are challenges and hurdles!
