Change requests in EPIC
« on: December 02, 2019, 03:59:10 pm »
Does one not use the Acord change request in Epic (for company that requires a form submitted) - in TAM we completed the Change Request....what does one do in Epic.  The info seems to say "after you submitted" rather than how to submit.

I don't sit in the account manager seat, but I am pretty sure that we can use the ACORD form to submit change requests.

Actions -> Endorse/Change existing line
  edit application to reflect change
Actions -> Submit change request

Is that not what you are looking for?

Mark....yes that is what we were looking for.  We asked the people here how to do it and they said they don't...they send and typed email instead....which is silly as far as I am concerned as the change request is going to require a lot less action!  I did chat with Applied and was told pretty much just what you said.  The "instructions" are a little lacking for real world use.....  Thanks for the response.

Glad I could help!

Now, just make sure you're a Big "I" member so that you don't have to start paying to use ACORD forms starting in January.  8)

In Epic, you endorse the existing line and make the necessary changes to the application.  Then you submit the change request and those changes are reflected on the ACORD change request.

- Add and delete vehicles from existing application, the change request will show the deleted vehicles and added vehicles.  Update a building limit, the change request shows to change the building limit on the change request.
