Combining 2 clients
« on: July 12, 2019, 10:46:34 am »
In Epic, how does one combine two clients (basically move one client - policy, attachments, invoices etc) to a second existing policy?
We have two clients that have merged into one entity now.  Both are fairly new in the system so there isn't a lot to move but - still need to move what is there.

I couldn't find anything in the EPIC help file.  Does this requires "rights" to accomplish?

There is no option to combine clients in Epic yet. I believe about all you can do is move attachments (from Attachment Screen, select attachments and then choose Actions-Move Attachments). You can also copy a policy from one client to another. There is an idea (# D363) that has 615 upvotes that was created on 8/27/13. It currently shows the status as "On Roadmap"

Thanks, George.

I "chatted" with Applied/Epic a couple of days ago and was told yes. - I guess they were referring to attachments.  I did know we can move policies but was hoping for merging clients!  Oh, well, we will get the job done with what we have...
