What scanners are you using with TAM (2016) with Windows 2010?  Our Canon ImageFORMULA DR-4010c does not have a Windows 2010 Twain driver so we are going to need to replace it.  Our IT person tried every conceivable combination of compatibility mode and drivers and it just is not Windows 2010 compatible.  Applied indicated the only requirement was it needs to be a Twain Driver (already know that) and Windows 2010 compatible...(sorta figured that)..

What is all this windows 2010  its windows 10 I keep reading your posts and getting confused.  They stopped using years in windows xp so they wouldnt have to keep up with years which was 2002.

Just like iphone they skipped 9 and went right to 10.

I'm still running Canon DR 2080 USB models!  But I'm also running Windows 7 Pro, which doesn't help you.  I had to make a minor tweak in the installation to get it to run, and even though the said it wouldn't work, they work fine.  That may be your case as well.

OK....back in business!!  Finally got the scanner to install and updated the driver for Windows 10 and all seems to be working OK.

Do you scan as a PDF or TIF?  We always scanned as TIF the program we used to edit in TAM doesn't seem to work with Windows 10 (MS Sharepoint [2007]) - document imaging.  I changed to PDF but it takes longer but I am able to edit with the full version of Adobe Acrobat DC.  Also I have always scanned at 300dpi - anyone using lower dpi and still have it work OK in TAM?

Thanks.

More preference..  My opinion TIF is old school like TAM.  PDF is what most use today.  We've always used PDF.  Never been a fan of TIF.   Using some of Applied Products kept people living in the past much too long.  Welcome to the present.  LOL   :)

;D - thanks...

Adobe is OK...it's just that it takes a lot longer to convert big scans...and it requires a pdf editing program to manage the scanned items in TAM (like taking out pages that were scanned with a file accidentally or "blank" pages that have a mark on them and get scanned anyway even tho the tolerance level is set to NOT copy...)...
