About couple years ago someone shared on forum (not this one) how they could save time by creating a shortcut to Applied macro, save and close.   Long ago I set up Word to use this (Quick Save) by locating macro, putting on tool bar with smiley face icon.   Staff loved it.   Been years and I'm trying to recreate this on some replaced workstations.   It's alluding me.  Anyone recall and have steps to do so?

Bob,

You will need to create this shortcut while doing a document in TAM (can be blank)
While in the document go to Add-Ins portion of the ribbon
Right click on Applied
Add Group To Quick Access Toolbar

Hope that's what you were after.

Thanks Ric!  I just wanted the quick save and close.

Lynne sent an email with instruction and I'll post it here in case others want to use and search later on AU.

Her instructions:

Customize Quick Access Toolbar / More Commands / Choose Commands from: Macros / TemplateProject.modMain.AutoClose (or AutoExit I always forget) / click Add. Then while highlighted on the right, I click Modify and change the icon

+1 Lynne and thanks!
