We are getting increasing resistance from mortgage companies to accept the EOP (Acord 27) as proof of hazard insurance for homeowners policies. Today, one even responded that they can no longer accept ACORD forms. My knee-jerk reaction is "tough s%@, that's what we will provide" (I really hate tracking down decs from carrier websites just to send to a mortgage company). Anyone have any constructive response suggestions? I already have little patience with them since the majority of their calls are to verify coverage when we or the carrier already sent it to them.

I've had to battle a couple recently who wanted us to provide documentation that wasn't accurate and I had to quote State Law regarding the usage of EOPs - but they always want to throw us under the bus and tell the client that we are being "uncooperative".

Record your calls and play it back for the client.  ;D

Doesn't help, but at least shows you are not being uncooperative.
