We're on TAM 11.1.  When there's a lot of verbiage in the description of operations field, it doesn't fill the entire field-just about half fills.  As a result, the rest of the description prints on a second page in "notepad."  Is there a fix for this yet?  It happens during "Print preview" also.

Welcome to AU Janie!  +1 for your 1st post.

I don't have a definitive answer but I think not.  Hopefully Conan will come across thread and can officially comment on this..  :)

I'll leave the technical stuff to the IT gurus and make a comment and caveat instead, relating to what is in that description field.  Often times, those fields are used to amend policy language and/or coverages because the insured signed a contract.  You're probably aware of that, but in case you weren't, I thought I would mention it.

As far as what the CSR's put in there, your guess is as good as mine-I'm the accounting manager!

Long ones usually include adding a company and a whole host of hangers-on as additional insureds. It doesn't fix the problem, but they could just type "see attached" and put all of it on a note that would print as a second page. Doesn't eliminate the extra page, but does at least keep it all together. I don't know if its the case here, but some fields look like they should hold much more based on their amount of whitespace, but get limited either because ACORD has a limited number of characters, or Applied has set a limited number of characters in the database. A chat or call with forms support may quickly answer if it's the former or the latter.

The ACORD standard is create an ACORD 101 for extra remarks, but I don't think TAM does that. I believe it's just big blank page.

Thanks-I'm waiting for Applied to get back to me.
Hmm, I'm a "lurker"-how cool!

Just heard from Applied-there's no fix yet.  I'll use Jim's suggestion of typing "see attached" and see if that satisfies our very fussy CSR's.   :D

We have several clients that certs always have tons of verbiage in the Description area and bleeds over to the 2nd page.  We usually put (contd) as the last word on the 1st page so they know there is a 2nd page.
