I have searched the forums and not found the exact problem we are having so I figure I will try with new post.  Excuse me if there is other post about this and please steer me in that direction if so.

Since upgrading to TAM 11.1, I have been getting complaints from our users that they no longer can print certifcate holders in a batch.  They select the "all" box in printing options but then it prints each certificate holder seperate.  This is a huge problem for us as we print to etfile so the little etfile window pops up asking what we want to name document and where to print to.  So for instance, if there is 100 holders, 100 etfile boxes pop up that you have to deal with intead of just one box like it was with TAM 10.8.

Any workarounds or fixes?

Have you applied the Maintenance Update #3? They made a change to the Certificates printing routine in MU3:

When printing certificates, a Processing Certificates window displays as the certificates generates. In addition, certificate print jobs are queued to the printer immediately. Previously, the print job did not begin until all certificates were generated, causing a noticeable delay between the times OK was clicked and certificates with a large number of holders started to print.

I don't know whether this fixes your issue or not, but I also heard that a couple of agencies had a Certficate problem even after MU3 and Applied loaded a "custom" fix for them for that specific problem.

We're Vision, but I have noticed that if there are holders with attachments, it prints each cert as a separate job.  If there are no attachments on any of the holders, it prints as one large job.

You might see if that makes a difference for you in TAM.
