Tried that "negotiation", even with large agencies I was with - no budge.

for some reason, using 'run as' is not available for this file. Other files have that feature, this is an msi file, maybe Prog turned it off. Finally did get it installed, but the install script has several errors. They should write a better script, it has been four years. Will know tomorrow if it works.

As a final update: I installed it on a virtual W2K machine. The software installed without problems.  i am guessing it has not been updated since that time period.

Hans, when "Run as" is not  right-click option, you can always go to the command line and use the following method:

runas /USER:domain\username blahblahblah.msi

I actually commonly use this:
runas /USER:domain\username cmd

And then I get a command prompt as my admin user.  This way I can do whatever I need without having to re-do the long runas command.
