crashed the SMF forums - so if you tried to visit late today - you likely got an error.  My bad - I was overly zealous cleaning out some old MySQL binary logs.

anyway - recovered the db no worse for wear

I was really getting into my "profile" set up....Me and Bob....  I had to laugh when I got the "server down" error..... de je vue!!

would have had it fixed quicker, but things have been busy and I just wasn't paying close attention.  Of course, purging the logs properly would have prevented the outage in the first place.  That will teach me to not take short-cuts.
